Makayla Kincaid

Makayla began her legal career path in 2023. She spent 3 years as legal assistant before joining Dahl Family Law. Makayla works as our receptionist and is the first face you’ll see at our firm. Her prior experience, matched with her passion for law, gives her the advantage of not only assisting both new and current clients, but the paralegals and attorneys as well. When she’s not directing current clients or helping new clients start their legal process, she is working alongside the paralegals to help everyone stay up to speed.

Once Makayla completes her Criminal Justice degree, she plans to attend law school. Her goal is to become an attorney practicing multiple different areas of law, while specializing in family law.

Outside of legal work, Makayla plans to one day open her own animal rescue and advocate for abused and neglected pets, like her dog Calypso, who she rescued in 2024 and who is now living her life to the fullest.
